Everton Fans - We need to know your thoughts!
Hey everyone. SB Nation would very much like to hear your opinions and feedback on the user experience on this site. We are always trying to improve user experiences, navigation and brand integrations and your feedback is valuable in this process.
All responses will be kept confidential and the entire process will only take a few minutes. Also, as incentive to participate, for the 3 SB Nation sites with the highest percentage of completed surveys, SB Nation will make
a $500 donation to the charity of our choice (I've asked and NO, Everton and/or Bill Kenwright are not charities, even they seem and behave like one - can't blame me for trying though eh??) However, a few minutes of your time could make a huge difference.
To take the survey, click here:

Thanks in advance for your help.
The Royal Blue Mersey Team & SBNation.
Read Royal Blue Mersey On the SB Nation App
We all know that you guys love to read Royal Blue Mersey all the time, and now SB Nation has allowed you to do it through your iPhone. The SB Nation app is now available for download to the iPhone and IPad, and it is a pretty sweet program if I do say so myself. You can keep track of all your favorite SB Nation blogs as well as keeping track of general news from your favorite sports. Download it through iTunes or use your the App Store . You can also see the awesome screenshots and all that fun stuff right here. And now that we are done plugging products, it is time to return to our regularly scheduled worrying here at RBM, after all our fingernails are too long.
RBM Makes Early Summer Signings
The close season has barely begun but Royal Blue Mersey is already busy preparing for the new campaign with a trio of summer signings.
One of those you may already be familiar with - Brian Lewis has been editor over at the Everton Offside for some time and has been working closely with me and the guys at SBNation over the past few months. He is now full time co-editor of Royal Blue Mersey and so you should now start to see more of his excellent work appearing on this site in the coming weeks.
We also have two new writers on board who have already began spreading the Toffee word. Daniel Miller has written his first piece - a review of the season - over at The Offside and like Brian will soon start posting his work over here.
Darren Melling is our new tactics blogger and has already written a excellent analysis of the Chelsea game here. His regular column will shine a light on Everton's tactical strengths and weaknesses.
We also hope to introduce you to more writers who are busy preparing their opening pieces and formal bios and introductions of all of them will soon follow. In the mean time you can follow the current RBM crew on Twitter @DarrenMelling @ToffeeDan @Brian_Goodison as well as RBM's official Twitter feed @rbmersey
We are always interested in recruiting new writers so if you feel you have something to contribute email us at everton@theoffside.com or use the contact form here and include your name and how often you would be able to write for the site. At a minimum we are looking for people who can contribute an article every other week on a set schedule, and ideally who can contribute every week. No experience is needed, all you really need is a passion for all things Everton.
RBM & The Offside - Keeping in touch
Further to yesterday's news about the new partnership between RBM and The Everton Offside blog here is a quick post to let you know all the ways you can keep in touch.
There is, of course, the two sites - www.royalbluemersey.com and http://everton.theoffside.com/ - where in the very near future you will find posts from both site's writers as well as having the opportunity to comment and actively participate in the debate.
You can also follow us on Twitter:
Offsides tweets @evertonoffside
Or the views of offside writer and soon to be RBM guest columinst @Brian_Goodison.
Don't forget there is also Royal Blue Mersey's facebook page meaning there is no excuse for you not to keep in touch!
Royal Blue Mersey and Everton: The Offside
It is an exciting time for SBNation in general at the moment and their latest acquisition has seen the popular UK based Offside network of football blogs become part of their ever-expanding community.
Because of that I can can today announce a new partnership between RBM and the excellent Everton blog over at the Offside network.
We've Been Slacking
We have been slacking. It's true. We haven't been updating you with news, stories, or anything really that would make you think of us as a sports blog.
We do have excuses though. Tom for one has been swamped at work. For me. It's been pretty tough to write things and keep up with the club away from the country (and with a tough time finding reliable internet). On a sidenote - You take a lot of things for granted when you are in America, but in most countries even little things are big luxuries. There is one advantage though, and that is the fact that football coverage here is much greater than back in the states, so I've been able to watch a lot of the matches.
Enough excuses talk. The reason I'm writing this is that I've found a decent connection to the interwebs. You should be able to read decent coverage and more ridiculous articles from here on out, so get ready.
Oh and, COME ON YA BLUES!!
