Update: Apparently Muamba is now in stable condition. The hospital has released a statement saying he is in stable condition. Sad news out of White Hart Lane, Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapased near halftime of the Fa Cup Quarterfinal match between Bolton and Spurs. per the BBC and ESPN, Muamba received 10 minutes of CPR on the field before being transported to the hospital. Their are reports also stating he wasn't breathing as he was removed, and was still receiving CPR while being transported to the hospital. Howard Webb rightly decided to abandon the match, and make sure to keep Fabrice Muamba and his family in your thoughts and prayers
The deal will keep the American keeper at Goodison Park through 2016. Howard has been taking a bit of heat from Everton fans recently after a few shaky performances, and my initial reaction is that four years might be overkill for a 33-year-old player. Still, Howard is a good keeper so at least we're set at that position for the foreseeable future. Now can we quit buying expensive backup keepers who never play??
Not the worst draw, especially since it is at Goodison. Definitely a winnable match.
George Green is already a hero. Love it.
Everton have signed former Benfica and Manchester City youngster Francisco Santos Da Silva Junior on a free transfer.

Tim Cahill is celebrating the arrival of another boy to the Cahill clan!
Thought that this was interesting. Fans seem to have had enough of the bad business done by the club and are trying to take some things into their own hands. Keeping Finch Farm close to us would be extremely beneficial, but I think has a very low probability of actually working.
The Tangerines beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 at Hillsborough in the 4th round replay. Tie to be played on the 18th February at 3PM UK Time.
And it will be at Goodison. Can't ask for a much better draw... now just make sure we don't pull another Reading lads!
The fee from Spartak Moscow seems to be around £5 million pounds and the deal is pending a medical. This isn't that bad considering he was a complete flop and we bought him for around £9 million.
