Another day, another scintillating show put on by Everton in the league. For a while there in the first half it seemed like there might be a historic scoreline in the cards, but a quiet second half will suit David Moyes just fine. Can you say "2nd in the Prem"?

After a terrible first 15 minutes and an error by Howard to concede the first goal, Everton started to look better and scored 3 in succession to go up at halftime.
Osman scored an easy goal ('25) after Mirallas' cross missed Jelavic but ended up right in front of Osman, who put it away easily.
Jelavic then scored a beauty ('32) that most of our strikers tend to miss after a fast break on a counter.
Jelavic then completed a brace ('38) by halftime after a bullet free header.
