We thought it might be hard for players to keep their motivation for the rest of the season. There really is nothing to play for except for pride, but as they showed us last week against Manchester United, it seems they still still have some fight in them.
There have been some rumors (mostly unsubstantiated) that Clint Dempsey has a chance of transferring over to the Blue half of Mersey over the summer. That seems the be the most interesting thing in this match, other than who finishes higher in the table.
Also, Ossie is set to make his 300th appearance! Let's make it a happy one guys.
