After trailing with Everton, Hitzlsperger may be given a spot on the squad after the midfielder injuries to Everton's squad.
It will probably give us some much needed depth and experience (and insurance) in case of further injury. All he needed to do was prove that his last injury was passed him and it seems like he may have accomplished that.
