Everton v Tamworth: Live Gamethread
Ahh, the magic of the FA Cup. The third round weekend is one of the most memorable in the football calendar, with Premier League giants nervously trying to avoid upsets to lower league opposition.
The magic of the Cup will be on show at Goodison, where non-league Tamworth bid to become the first side from outside the football league to knock Everton out of the FA Cup since 1912.
Optimism and hope will be high among the visitors but conspicuous by its absence among the Toffees. The defeat to Bolton ruined any fragile New Year's confidence built up over their four game unbeaten run. Injuries to key players - including a six week lay-off for Phil Jagielka - made things feel even worse.
Anyways.....
A good result today with some goals to boot may help us all feel a bit better. I dread to think what will happen if we lose!
I will have to two teams as soon as I have them - Feel free to comment below!

Team is in
Howard, Coleman (RB), Heitinga (CB), Distin (CB), Nev (LB), Donovan (RM), Felli (CM), Bily (CM), Gueye (LM), McFadden (S), Anichebe (S)
I fear it will be the latter!
TBH I thought Billy would never pla for us again but I guess he has to play given our lack of numbers! If he doesn’t perform today though that should be him finished as an Everton player.
Slightly off topic but...
This was Bill Kenwright outside Goodison today, accused the Blue Union of betraying the club. Things are coming to a head:

1-0 Everton!!
Corner kick from Donovan, headed in by Heitinga!! Boy we needed that!! Listening to radio only though, can’t find a stream.

Decent start by Everton, still 1-0
Though Billy is lucky to escape a booking for a second late challenge.
Tamworth have grown into this game
Whereas Everton’s performance levels have dropped to their normal depths. Could do with HT I reckon just to sort a few things out.
Hello gents
1-0 at HT with few chances… not good enough, lads.
At least I can’t see what’s happening, so I can’t be sure just how mediocre we’ve been.
I'm not sure it it is worse or better not being able to watch it!
I had the chance to go today but after the shambles of Wednesday, I decided I had better things to do!
