Everton v Bolton: Live GameThread
Landon Donovan is back folks! Looks like Moyes will be starting him instead of easing him in on the first match.
We need to beat the last place club at home with a lot of buzz around the stadium. If Moyes can't achieve this, then we have some serious problems [not] to look forward to.
Match lineups closer to game time.
As always, comment below.

Hoping to find a good stream
stuck at work today during the match.
Bill Polian has forgotten more about football than you ever have or ever will know.
Should be able to
There are only two matches on tonight so if it’s not the Man U match, people have to be watching this instead.
@sibsinExile
I don't know why anyone wouldn't be watching this game
I mean, who would ever pick Man U v. Newcastle over Everton v. Bolton?

hahaha well we're the most exciting club in the Prem
So many goals to be scored between us it’s ridiculous. We all know Man U and Newcastle is gonna be a snoozefest.
@sibsinExile
Maybe will Saha will finally get off the schneid today
If there’s any game he should find the net, its against Bolton at home.

Everton XI v Bolton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Donovan, Neville, Heitinga, Saha, Stracqualursi
Ok Sibi, own up...
What have you done with the real David Moyes?? This one is playing two strikers! The REAL Moyes would never dabble with such radical ideas!

I don't know
I’m freaking out right now. I think the moyes we see on the sudelines is actually a robot and someone is controlling him right now.
@sibsinExile
Anyone have a stream?
I’m doing a little searching but coming up blank so far.

Oh god damnit Saha.....
facepalm

idea for striker...
…replace Saha with a robot that will just randomly kick the ball in any direction. Potentially cheaper to build in-house, and not that much less effective.

Straq is like a bulldozer
Doesn’t care who is in front of him, he is going through them to get to the ball.
@sibsinExile
He is playing ok, working hard
Saha looks like he has no confidence whatsover. Landon should go up top in the second half (that’s nothing to do with the fact I have £10 him to score first, honest…..)
We look much much much better than the last couple of weeks
Actually some good passes outside the box and some close chances and not just shots completely off target.
@sibsinExile
But Rodwell coming in and Heitinga taking up Jags spot means more offense for us?
I like this even better, cause we now how less defensive midfielders and more attacking midfielders.
@sibsinExile
Every time I hear Ricketts name all I can think of is Rickety cricket...
from it’s always sunny in Philadelphia
@sibsinExile
Goddamn.. really wish we had been more aggressive about chasing Ba.. a screamer of a goal against Man U
Smile.. tomorrow will be worse.

THat should have been a goal
That was a hell of a save by Howard. We’re gonna choke this game and lose…
@sibsinExile
And damnit, I lost the stream the moment of the goal!!!

Did I see right that... HOWARD scored?

Howard belted one from the penalty box, and with the wind, it bounced over the Bolton keeper's head for a goal.

If you're arguing that karma is working in Bolton's favor
I would point to the standings, sir.

Or at least that bolton is due for a strong new year.

We've looked really bad this 2nd half.

And the fans are booing
Lots of negativity. I should really be talking, but the showing we are putting have been awful. Every week. We only win when we luck out.
@sibsinExile
We can't keep going on like this,
The team is dying slowly, I really think only relegation will force Kenwright to lower his asking price and sell up!! But by that point it will be too late!!!
Frustrating...
That is bad as I have seen Everton play all year. It’s one thing to not have any scoring threat, but tonight the defense was just as horrible. Maybe this is why Moyes never plays with two strikers.
Tim Howard has as many goals this season as Saha and more than Cahill, Billy, Coleman plus countless others. Something has got to change up front.
"It's not whether the glass is half empty or full, it's who is pouring the water" - Mark Cuban
Saha, Neville and Cahill have got to be benched.
I don’t think that Gueye, Anichebe and Straq could be worse.
