Toffeelinks 8/6/11 - Another United player linked with Everton, defender set to return
Hello and welcome to another day of media driven transfer hysteria. Actually, I say media driven but Liverpool aren't helping by spending £13million on Jordan Henderson - and how did they persuade Steve Bruce that David N'Gog was worth £7million?! Fair play to them on that one.
Anyway back to the penniless Blues and the latest rumours doing the rounds:
The Metro: Everton face tug-of-war with Sunderland for Danny Welbeck
The United striker spent last season on loan at the Stadium Of Light and reports suggest Sir Alex Ferguson is set to allow him to go out on loan again this season.
Daily Mail: Everton chase Doncaster goalkeeper.
Doncaster 'keeper Gary Woods has been linked with a move to Goodison as back-up to Tim Howard, with Jan Mucha all but certain to move on.
Daily Mirror: Yobo set to return
The Mirror is reporting that a failure to agree a transfer fee could see Joseph Yobo return to the club, despite Moyes wanting to sell him. It is reported that Bill Kenwright wants £5million for the defender, with Fenerbahce only prepared to pay half that.
Daily Post: Ladies' World Cup hope
The England squad for the Women's World Cup is announced on Thursday and up to seven of the Everton Ladies team are hoping to be involved.
Daily Post: Howard loves it at Everton
Goalkeeper Tim Howard has spoken of his love for the Blues and his desire to stay at the club for the rest of his career.
Incidentally, Howard was in inspired form for the US on Tuesday night, making several great saves against Canada. Highlights are found below

GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL! GOAL!
That goal from Dempsey was an awesome goal. Also, that save sequence at the end of the video by Howard was absolutely insane.
Say no to Prince Fielder in 2012.

A top keeper
Glad he has committed his future to the club. given we have no cash there is little chance of buying a replacement anyway! It’s nice to know the goalkeeping position is sorted for a few more years.
Great 2nd Half for Howard
He wasn’t tested at all the 1st half.
Would like to see Welbeck at Goodison next year but could Everton afford it?

Rumours are Sunderland have made a bid for Welbeck
Along with Daron Gibson & Wes Brown, as he spent last year there that might swing it.
