RBM Makes Early Summer Signings

The close season has barely begun but Royal Blue Mersey is already busy preparing for the new campaign with a trio of summer signings.

One of those you may already be familiar with - Brian Lewis has been editor over at the Everton Offside for some time and has been working closely with me and the guys at SBNation over the past few months. He is now full time co-editor of Royal Blue Mersey and so you should now start to see more of his excellent work appearing on this site in the coming weeks.

We also have two new writers on board who have already began spreading the Toffee word. Daniel Miller has written his first piece - a review of the season - over at The Offside and like Brian will soon start posting his work over here.

Darren Melling is our new tactics blogger and has already written a excellent analysis of the Chelsea game here. His regular column will shine a light on Everton's tactical strengths and weaknesses.

We also hope to introduce you to more writers who are busy preparing their opening pieces and formal bios and introductions of all of them will soon follow. We are always interested in recruiting new writers so if you feel you have something to contribute email us at everton@theoffside.com or use the contact form here and include your name and how often you would be able to write for the site. At a minimum we are looking for people who can contribute an article every other week on a set schedule, and ideally who can contribute every week. No experience is needed, all you really need is a passion for all things Everton.
