Around SBN: SEC, Big 12 Alliance Should Be Rivalry Series

Starters vs. Reading

The 4-4-2 with Beckford and Saha has recently been the best formation for us in my opinion.

Assuming everyone is healthy, how do we play the midfield now that we have Cahill back?

As much as I love Cahill, I think the answer for us right now may be to stick with Osman-Fellaini-Arteta-Coleman and use Cahill off the bench.

I don't think playing Cahill is worth removing Beckford or Saha up front because of our recent successes when they play together.

Thoughts?

I think you're right about Cahill being on the bench...

Moyes admitted the other day that he would rather play 4-4-2 but the form and goals of Cahill often means he has to build the team around him. If fit though I would go with Beckfors and Saha with Cahill on the bench, meaning we can always go back to 4-5-1 ti tighten things up if we are winning or if things are going badly put him on as a extra forward.
That said rumours are we are struggling to field any strikers so Cahill may end up being pushed up front on his own!
