As David Moyes' search for a striker becomes more and more desperate it appears he has focused his sights on Stoke City striker Tuncay.
The former Middlesbrough forward has failed to force his way into the Potters team since moving there two years ago and is reportedly unsettled.
Stoke have apparently given Moyes permission to speak with the player’s agent, but are holding out for a cash offer for the player, although Moyes is stuck trying to force through a loan deal.
It perhap's isn't surprising he hasn't started much at the Britannia, he isn't the sort of player to suit their direct style of play and the signing of John Carew from Aston Villa will only push him further down the pecking order.
Five goals in 44 games isn't that spectacular either, but beggars can't be choosers and we are definitely in that category at the moment..
Picking up Stoke rejects symbolises how far we have come and will only encourage the unrest among the fans over our increasingly rapid decline.
Things could be worse though, we could be having the week Andy Gray is having!
