The way this transfer window is going I may make the bench for the next game as yet again the press have linked players with moves AWAY from Goodison rather than in.
Phil Neville has once gaian been linked with a move to Spurs. The Mirror thinks Harry Redknapp will ignore Moyes' hands-off warning and once again try to tempt the Toffees captain to White Hart Lane. The stroy is short and quoteless so we can't be sure it is true, but it is a little worrying nonetheless.
The Daily Post meanwhile think Crystal Palace are set to make a fresh loan bid for James Vaughan. The striker was set for a loan move to Celtic before he came on against Liverpool last week meaning eh has played for two clubs this season - FIFA regualtions state you cannot play for anymore.
Tim Cahill will definitely miss the Chelsea game after Australia beat Iraq 1-0 to move into the Semi-finals of the Asia Cup. The midfielder had been a doubt for the game but the Aussie physios patched him up and he is now expected to play in tomorrow’s semi-final against Uzbekistan.
