I know this story has been beaten to death, but It's still out there and I want to know everyone's opinion.

This rumor just came out: Everton still interested in permanent move for £11m LA Galaxy attacker Landon Donovan - report

I pretty much know this story is bullshit because we don't have that much cash to spend on him. Even if we did by transferring players, would we really want Donovan for that much?

There are also some rumors that we want him for a short loan just like last year. Donovan has already stated that he won't do that. He said he is tired after playing constantly (MLS, EPL loan, WC, MLS again) and needs some time for rest.

So here are the questions for you guys. Are all these Donovan rumors getting annoying? Do we really want Donovan for that price, or should we be looking for something else, like strikers (or at least ones that don't get injured or just plain suck)?
