So as you can probably tell from the title, I am an American fan. My girlfriend loves to travel and it isn't really my thing, but I figured maybe I could get something out of it. So I proposed a weeklong trip to Liverpool using the museums and history to appeal to her and using the chance of seeing a match live to get me excited. We are planning on being there from the 4th of January until the 10th. I want to try to go to the January 5th match against the Spurs. Where I need help with that is how do I get tickets? I've searched around, but can't seem to find them on sale for anything other than ridiculous prices like £200+ and they aren't for sale on the club's website. Do I have to book the trip before getting tickets and hope to get them closer to the date? Or am I even going to be able to get tickets or should I just give up the idea? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks.
