My name is Aditya and I am a blogger for the Tennessee Titans NFL blog for SB Nation, Music City Miracles. My soccer watching experience does not really go past watching the World Cup every four years, but I want to start following a team.

I am a Socceroos fan when it is World Cup time, so my friends suggested that I adopt Everton as my favorite club, with Tim Cahill on the roster. And of course, who doesn't like Tim Howard?

What I'm hear to ask is, what can you briefly tell me about Everton as the season begins? What can you tell me about the big players, and about the team in general, as if I don't really know anything about the team, because, well, I don't know much, but I really do want to start watching soccer. Did I make the right decision choosing Everton?
