Here we go again....

Rumours across the net are suggesting that Arsenal have had a £8million bid for Phil Jagielka rejected by Everton.

The former (Sheff United man, who should be in the England squad in my opinion) made a complete recovery from a knee ligament injury to re-capture the form he was in before he suffered the injury just a week after the FA Cup semi-final.

After selling Joleon Lescott last season we could do without selling another key defender who has prgoressed from steady Championship player to a World class centre half in his three years at Goodison.

I'm hoping Arsenal get the hint with this flat rejection though it all depends on Jagielka. If he wants to stay Arsenal can't do anything, however, if he wants to move he can agitate for a transfer.

It could be a long summer.....
