Bolton has now overtaken Celtic as favorites to sign James Vaughan. The 21-year-old is currently rated at around £1-£2 million.

Celtic want to sign Vaughan to a season long loan which would allow Everton to keep their young player. Vaughan has been constantly nagged by injury even though he has shown some real promise on the pitch. Vaughan was loaned out to Derby County and Leicester City last season.

I would rather him go on loan with Celtic than sign with Bolton. I know he has been injured a lot, but giving Vaughan up for just £1 is a waste. I know we are cash-strapped, but this seems like a bad move.
